The necessities

What we actually collect.

• Account: your email and a hashed password, via Supabase — Cephic never sees your plaintext password.
• Free calculators (Calculate), no account: nothing is stored or sent anywhere — every calculation runs in your browser. The Chrome extension stores your saved presets locally on your device only.
• Allocate: your uploaded backtest files are parsed in your browser. Only aggregated, anonymised stats — never raw trade data — are sent to Anthropic's API to generate an AI grade summary or assistant-panel reply. Saved portfolios are stored, linked to your account, so you can come back to them.
• Watchdog: you install a small program (the Cephic Watchdog EA) in your own MT4/MT5 terminal and pair it to your account with a one-time code — Cephic never asks for or stores your broker login or password. The EA reports your account's balance, equity, and recently closed trades to power your own dashboard (drawdown, drift vs. backtest, rule tracking). Disconnecting an account deletes its stored data immediately.
• Payments: handled entirely by Stripe. Cephic never sees or stores your card number.
• Who else sees data: Stripe (billing), Supabase (accounts/storage), Anthropic (AI analysis), Vercel and Railway (hosting), and — only on deployments where it's enabled — Sentry (crash/error diagnostics). Each only gets the minimum needed to run their part. Cephic does not use MetaAPI or any other third-party broker-connectivity provider.
• Your rights (GDPR): access, correct, export, or delete your data, or object to processing, any time. Delete your own account instantly from account settings, or email support@cephic.io for anything else, including a data export. You can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
• Cookies: essential login-session cookies only, today. No analytics or ad-tracking cookies.
